1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Nexa Enterprise Solutions Pty Ltd collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects personal information when you use Dwellu.

Dwellu is a mobile app that helps users collect home inspiration, organise ideas by project and space, collaborate with invited users, and use AI-assisted tools to summarise preferences, decisions, and design direction.

Dwellu’s AI features are designed to assist with planning and preference summaries. They are not professional advice.

Payment, subscription, and entitlement information

When you buy, restore, or manage paid features, payment is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play, and our billing partner, currently RevenueCat. We may receive and store limited information needed to provide access and prevent misuse, such as:

  • product or plan purchased;
  • subscription or entitlement status;
  • renewal, expiry, cancellation, or refund status;
  • store transaction identifiers or app-user identifiers linked to the purchase;
  • purchase restoration status;
  • which project a Project Pass, Collaborator Add-on, or similar entitlement is linked to, where applicable.

We do not store full payment card numbers. Store billing history remains with Apple or Google under their privacy policies.

We also process usage and entitlement information to enforce free-tier and fair-use limits, unlock paid features, reconcile purchases after sign-in, restore eligible purchases, and investigate fraud or abuse.

3. How we collect information

We collect information when:

  • you create an account;
  • you sign in using Apple, Google, Supabase authentication, or another supported sign-in method;

  • you invite or collaborate with another user;
  • you use AI-assisted features;

  • you interact with Dwellu;
  • your device sends technical or diagnostic data;
  • you contact us for support;
  • third-party service providers process data on our behalf.

4. Why we use your information

We use your information to:

  • provide and operate Dwellu;
  • create and manage user accounts;
  • authenticate users and secure access;
  • save, organise, and display projects, spaces, items, and decisions;
  • enable collaboration and invitations;

  • prevent misuse, fraud, abuse, unauthorised access, and entitlement circumvention;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • develop future features, including referrals, vendor links, sponsored content, advertising, analytics, diagnostics, or additional paid products where introduced.

5. AI processing

Dwellu may use third-party AI service providers, including OpenAI, to process user-provided content and generate summaries, insights, and guided prompts. AI calls are intended to occur through our backend systems and not directly from the mobile app.

AI processing may include analysing images, notes, links, project context, selected spaces, locked decisions, shortlisted items, comments, and preference signals.

We do not use AI to provide building, engineering, legal, financial, compliance, safety, or professional construction advice.

AI outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should independently verify any information before relying on it for real-world building, renovation, purchasing, design, or financial decisions.

Depending on your location, we may process personal information on the basis of your consent, performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Dwellu, providing paid entitlements, enforcing limits, preventing abuse, improving the app, compliance with legal obligations, and protection of our rights, users, systems, and services.

7. Sharing of information

We may share information with:

  • cloud hosting and database providers, including Supabase or similar providers;
  • authentication providers, including Apple, Google, Supabase, or similar providers;
  • storage providers;
  • AI service providers, including OpenAI;
  • analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, and monitoring providers, if introduced;
  • Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or similar billing and entitlement providers;
  • email, communication, and support providers;
  • professional advisers;
  • regulators, courts, law enforcement, or government authorities where legally required;
  • business partners, referral partners, advertising partners, or vendors if such features are introduced and legally permitted.

We do not sell your personal information.

Where referral, sponsored, advertising, or vendor features are introduced, we will update this Privacy Policy or provide additional disclosures where required.

8. Hosting, storage regions, and international data transfers

Dwellu uses reputable cloud infrastructure providers. At the time of drafting, the Supabase project region is expected to be Tokyo, Japan. Hosting regions may change as the product scales, user geography changes, or operational requirements evolve.

Your information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where you live. These countries may have different privacy laws.

Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure that international transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, contractual arrangements, or other lawful mechanisms.

9. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.

These measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, secure storage, logging, database permissions, and restricted administrative access.

No system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.

10. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Dwellu, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, reconcile app store purchases, prevent fraud or abuse, and support legitimate business purposes.

Uploaded content and project data are generally retained while your account is active unless deleted by you or removed through an account deletion process.

Backups and logs may persist for a limited period after deletion before being securely overwritten or deleted.

11. Account deletion and data deletion

Delete your account in the Dwellu app

  1. Open Dwellu and sign in.
  2. Tap the Profile tab.
  3. Open Settings or the account options menu.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm Delete account, then confirm again if prompted.
  6. Keep the app open until deletion finishes; you should return to the welcome or sign-in screen.

Deletion is permanent and removes your account access. Projects you own and your uploads are removed or anonymised. In shared projects, your past comments and activity may appear as “Former member” or a similar anonymised label.

If you cannot use the app

Email info@nexasolutions.au from your account email with the subject line “Dwellu account deletion”. We will verify ownership and process the request.

What we delete

Profile information, projects you own, uploaded content, preferences, and related account data, except records we must keep for legal, security, billing reconciliation, entitlement, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Subscriptions and paid features after deletion

Deleting your Dwellu account removes or anonymises your app account data as described above. It does not cancel Apple or Google subscriptions.

If you have an active Subscription, Collaborator Add-on, or any other auto-renewing purchase, you must cancel it yourself in your Apple ID / App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Otherwise, the store may continue to bill you even after your Dwellu account is deleted.

We may retain limited purchase, entitlement, transaction, and fraud-prevention records as needed to reconcile with the app stores, prevent misuse of purchased entitlements, respond to disputes, and meet legal, tax, accounting, or store compliance obligations.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, request a copy of your data, and complain to a privacy regulator.

To exercise these rights, contact us at info@nexasolutions.au. We may need to verify your identity before actioning a request.

13. Children’s privacy

Dwellu is intended for users aged 18 and over.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided personal information without appropriate authority, we may delete the information and close the account.

14. Push notifications and communications

Dwellu may send in-app messages, account notices, service updates, security notifications, or support communications.

If push notifications or marketing emails are introduced, you may be able to control them through device settings, app settings, unsubscribe links, or other available controls.

Service, security, legal, and account-related messages may still be sent where necessary.

15. Analytics and diagnostics

We may use analytics, crash reporting, and diagnostic tools in the future to understand app usage, identify errors, improve performance, and maintain reliability.

These tools may collect device, usage, performance, and error information. Where possible, we use aggregated or limited information rather than directly identifying information.

If we introduce material new analytics or crash reporting providers, we may update this Privacy Policy or provide additional notice where required.

Dwellu offers optional paid features through the app stores where available in the app, as described in our Terms of Use. We use limited purchase, entitlement, usage, and subscription information to manage access, enforce fair-use limits, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and reconcile store transactions.

Sponsored placements, referral links, partner offers, vendor offers, or advertising may be introduced later. If they are, we will update this Privacy Policy or provide additional notice where required.

17. Third-party services

Dwellu may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including app stores, hosting providers, authentication providers, AI providers, storage providers, payment processors, entitlement management providers, analytics tools, crash reporting tools, and external websites.

Third-party services may handle your information under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites, apps, or platforms.

18. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you through the app, by email, or by another appropriate method.

Your continued use of Dwellu after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
